Donation Guidelines

Thank you for considering a donation! To help us prepare items quickly and safely for local families, please follow these guidelines.

What We Accept

• Gently used, outgrown, or new children's items from infancy through elementary school
• Clothing, shoes, books, school supplies, backpacks, toys, games, and arts & crafts supplies
• Baby and toddler gear that is clean and in safe, working condition

What We Cannot Accept

• Items that are broken, heavily stained, or unsafe
• Recalled products or items with expired safety ratings (such as expired car seats)
• Items that cannot be cleaned or sanitized

Before You Donate

Please launder clothing and wipe down hard-surface items when possible. This helps our small team prepare items for families more quickly.

Review Process

All donated items are reviewed by The Sharing Shelves for condition and safety before being added to the shelves. Submitting a donation does not guarantee acceptance.
